Unlock From Your Home Sale

We’re buying claims from homesellers like you—before they disappear, or you get paid pennies on the dollar.

How It Works

What Is This About?

For years, the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and the biggest real estate brokerages forced homesellers to pay inflated commissions. That means if you sold a home in the last several years, you may have been overcharged—by thousands of dollars.

A federal jury found this practice violated U.S. antitrust law, awarding over $1 billion in damages to homesellers like you. But class action settlements that wipe that undo that jury verdict are now being finalized.

The Problem with The Settlements

Instead of pursuing the case until the end, the end result of this litigation is a series of settlements that provide relatively low payments to homesellers—perhaps as little as $1,000 or less, when damages might be much more.

What We Do

Mintclaim will evaluate your home sale and see if you’re eligible to have your claim purchased. If so, then we’ll buy your claim and then pursue one of two options: opt you into the settlement if it makes sense, or hire lawyers and pursue the case separately to try and get an even higher payout.

What's Your Claim Worth?

That will vary. But if you sold a home with a real estate agent in recent years, your claim could be worth 3% of the total home value: $5,000, $10,000, even $25,000 or more.

The class settlement might not pay anywhere near that. We offer  a chance at a higher—and we take on the work and risk from there.

Check Your Eligibility

You may be eligible if:

  • You sold a home using a real estate agent or brokerage after 2015

  • You were charged a standard 5–6% commission

  • You’re not already represented by a private lawyer
